Shrija Mazumdar

I am a Computer Science and Engineering undergraduate focused on machine learning, natural language processing, and data-driven problem solving. I combine academic research, internships, and hands-on projects to build production-oriented ML solutions.

My recent internship at IEM GenAI CoE involved developing Fresh Folio, a Streamlit-based resume parsing application that extracts and analyzes structured candidate information using NLP. I have also completed short-term coursework at the National University of Singapore covering AI, IoT, ML, and data analytics.

I authored a research paper on Hope Speech Detection and achieved 93% accuracy using classical ML models, demonstrating my ability to design, evaluate, and publish ML work. My projects emphasize practical tooling, reproducibility, and user-facing applications.

I work with Python and C++, have experience with Oracle and MySQL, and use cloud and GenAI platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Gemini, and OpenAI APIs. I am driven by problem-solving, collaboration, and applying research to real-world problems.
