What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a Data Engineering role where I can build scalable cloud ELT pipelines, modernize warehouses, and own data quality, governance, and near real-time analytics—working closely with analytics and product teams to deliver SLA-driven outcomes.

I’m a Data Engineer with 5.5+ years of experience in SQL-driven data engineering, ETL/ELT development, and analytics enablement. I specialize in migrating and modernizing legacy data workflows across heterogeneous systems while handling structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data at scale.

In my recent role, I designed scalable batch and near real-time ELT pipelines using SQL and Python, built dimensional models (star/snowflake, SCD, surrogate keys), and implemented incremental processing and CDC patterns to reduce compute overhead. I also built orchestration using Airflow-equivalent schedulers, adding monitoring, retries, and SLA-aware reliability.

I leverage cloud platforms like Snowflake and Databricks, and use dbt with Medallion (Bronze–Silver–Gold) to standardize ingestion and deliver business-ready marts. I’m especially proud of the data quality frameworks (SQL/Python checks, freshness monitoring), governance/RBAC work, and automation use cases like NLP-based document classification—backed by multiple performance recognitions.
