What I'm looking for

Senior role on a distributed team, full-time or long-term contract, owning systems end to end. Full-stack, backend, or AI feature work: agents, retrieval, and evaluation harnesses that make model behaviour measurable.

Islamabad, UTC+5, four hours overlap with US Eastern. Pakistani work permit only, so I target roles open worldwide or hiring via EOR.

At Devkross, I lead architecture and AI feature delivery for fintech, logistics, healthcare, and SaaS products, reviewing the work of 4 to 6 engineers while owning service boundaries, API schemas, data isolation, and production reliability.

I build LLM and retrieval systems where correctness is enforced through typed contracts, constrained tool use, database policies, automated tests, and offline evaluation. My projects span React Native device systems, PostgreSQL RLS isolation, voice-agent scheduling, local-first RAG, and native iOS applications.
