Shawn Michael

I’m a Licensed Mechanical Engineer with strong leadership experience built through academic and professional roles. I started as a thesis leader and later served as a University Safety Department Head, where I developed and enforced safety policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and improving campus-wide hazard awareness.

More recently, I worked as a remote Lead Solar Project Manager, monitoring project pipelines via Coperniq and ensuring stalled projects were actively addressed by the right teams. I coordinate through Slack and Google Meet, and I bring a practical mix of technical training—covering solar PV, energy efficiency, and safety systems—plus risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety training to deliver efficient and sustainable solutions.
