Joined a small finance team inside a fast-scaling Belgian SaaS company, inheriting processes mid-build and improving the processes and controls, while taking ownership of the full month-end close cycle & FP&A, and improving on Belgian VAT compliance. The challenge: keeping controls tight while the business scaled rapidly around us.

Worked on technically demanding IFRS adoption engagements, drafting financial statement notes, applying revenue recognition and lease accounting standards (IFRS 15 and 16), and preparing HGB to US GAAP conversion memos. Short tenure, high-intensity, steep learning curve; exactly the kind of environment I sought out.

 Audit all revenue transactions for consistency and
methods used to meet hotel's standards.

from prevailing policies and procedure

Value (ICV) and Electricity Tariff Incentive Program
(ETIP) and consuting on improvement plans
