Shannon Fowler

I’m a Registered Nurse with three years of experience in high-acuity environments, excelling in patient education, evidence-based practice, and multidisciplinary collaboration. In my current role at Hackensack University Medical Center, I deliver comprehensive care on a 25-bed Urology and Solid Organ Transplant unit, managing individualized post-operative surgical needs and documenting accurately in Epic.

I administer medications, manage IV therapies, provide wound and drain care, and support infection control and patient safety standards while contributing to quality improvement initiatives. I also precept new staff and help orient students, and I’m a volunteer Research Assistant with the Center for Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology—supporting research protocols, data collection, and patient education with ongoing presentation experience.
