What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a hands-on laboratory role where I can process forensic specimens with strict SOP/chain-of-custody, maintain traceability, and grow my analytical and data skills to support downstream analysis.

I’m a Forensic Specimen Processor with hands-on experience processing and handling forensic casework specimens in accordance with established SOPs and strict chain-of-custody requirements. In my current role, I ensure specimen integrity, proper labeling, and compliance with quality standards to support downstream forensic analysis, while accurately documenting specimen information and maintaining traceability within laboratory information systems.

Before this, I worked as an Ophthalmic Technician II and Ophthalmic Technician, where I assisted with clinical testing and patient assessments while maintaining detailed, accurate records. I also supported instrument maintenance and adherence to clinical protocols, ensuring smooth daily workflow through careful diagnostic testing, data integrity, and proper equipment handling.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Certificate in Data Science, with coursework including statistics, data analysis, data visualization, and basic programming. I bring a disciplined laboratory mindset to every task, and I’m eager to continue developing hands-on analytical skills in a laboratory setting.
