I engineered a migration of GIF-BI from Apache Flume to MPS, processing 55M daily Kafka records (supporting 2.75M unique orders and 20M daily quantities). The work achieved 68% cost reduction by cutting down 222 Kafka topics, lowered 95th-percentile latency by 75% (250ms to 50ms), and enabled zero-downtime REST rollback with reliable recovery for Kafka consumption.
