At Cognizant Technology Solutions, I work on the Wyndham App Dev travel and hospitality platform, which manages resort inventory, bookings, customer data, and reservations. I designed and delivered three Inventory Hold Management microservices, including circuit-breaking and rate-limiting logic.
I led a SOAP-to-REST API migration using JDK 21, with component-level testing and OpenAPI/Swagger documentation. I also modernized logging by replacing Log4j with Logback and integrating Splunk for centralized monitoring.
On Cognizant’s OECS retail platform, I built Spring Boot microservices backed by MySQL and MQ listeners. I supported production releases through Kubernetes-based CI/CD pipelines and maintained code quality with unit and integration testing, vulnerability scanning, and static analysis.
I led client requirement-gathering sessions and sprint-based defect resolution, and onboarded new team members. My work has also included PCI-related security improvements and a scheduler-driven hold-processing workflow tested against its SLA.
