I’m a Registered Nurse with experience across cardiology progressive care, telemetry/cardiac short stay, and chronic dialysis management. I interpret and respond to EKG changes, assess and monitor patients closely, and advocate for timely progression of care through clear communication with resident physicians and specialty providers.
On my cardiac unit, I administer, monitor, and titrate cardiovascular IV drips, respond to critical changes to help prevent sentinel events, and provide post-procedural cath site care. I also manage specialized medical devices—including feeding tubes, surgical drains, PCA pumps, central lines/midlines, and life vests—while delivering thorough physical assessments and patient/family education.
Before fully transitioning into RN roles, I supported procedure-focused patient care as a Nurse Extern and contributed as a Research Assistant on couple-based smoking cessation interventions. I used CIAS to create an app-based intervention, created instructional videos, interviewed and screened participants via Zoom, and maintained confidentiality of collected information.
