What I'm looking for
I am a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from American University, where I developed a strong foundation in both scientific principles and community engagement. My experiences range from volunteering at local organizations to providing academic support to high school students, demonstrating my commitment to making a positive impact in my community.
Throughout my journey, I have honed my skills in communication, organization, and teamwork. As a Driven Student Guide at Raising A Village Foundation, I tailored my teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, ensuring they received the support necessary to succeed academically. My role as Vice President of HOSA allowed me to lead initiatives that fostered growth and development among my peers, further solidifying my leadership capabilities.
In addition to my academic and volunteer experiences, I have gained practical skills through internships and research assistant roles, where I gathered and analyzed data in a behavioral neuroscience lab. I am eager to leverage my background in neuroscience and my passion for helping others in a role that allows me to contribute to meaningful projects and initiatives.
