I’m an experienced Primary Music Teacher with 15+ years’ experience in Qatar and India. I’m skilled in delivering engaging, inclusive, student-centred learning across primary year groups, with strengths in music, creative arts, classroom management, and student wellbeing.

In my current role as a Primary Teacher (Music Specialist) at DPS-Modern Indian School, Qatar, I deliver music and creative arts lessons across primary year groups. I apply differentiated strategies for mixed-ability learners and lead performances, cultural programmes, concerts, and school events while maintaining positive classroom environments that support wellbeing and engagement.

Previously, I worked as a Primary English Teacher at The Park Institution in Kolkata, teaching grades 1–4. I graded coursework, made lesson plans, and focused on the holistic development of kids through structured classroom support.

I keep my practice current through ongoing professional development, including CIET–NCERT training on AI in Education and Blended Learning, plus 100+ school-sponsored CPDs in inclusive education, differentiation, SEN support, child psychology, safeguarding, first aid, experiential learning, and educational technology. I also serve as President of Bangiya Parishad Qatar (BPQ), leading a 400+ member socio-cultural organization and coordinating 25+ annual events.
