Provided triage/rooming, intake, consent and pre-authorization support for infectious disease, outpatient transplant, and travel medicine visits. Administered vaccines, performed preliminary lab review, supported OPAT/PICC line workflows, and supported infection-control and staff training activities.

Provided patient hygiene and activities of daily living support, including ambulation, turning/positioning, feeding, and maintaining hydration and nourishment. Monitored vital signs and weight, recorded intake/output, supported clinical procedures (e.g., non-sterile dressings and surgical preps), and followed confidentiality and hospital standards.

Collected blood and urine specimens, obtained patient vital signs, and performed EKGs per cardiologist requests while communicating status of orders to patients and staff. Set up patient rooms, assembled medical equipment, entered/retrieved patient data in a PC system and EHR, and supported sterile injections under physician guidance.

Monitored patient physical and mental conditions and assisted with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Educated patients on using assistive devices and documented changes in patient journals while notifying the nursing supervisor of unusual conditions.

Supported a cardiac catheterization lab workflow by assisting physicians during angioplasties, pacemaker implantation, and other cardiac procedures while monitoring vital signs pre- and post-procedure. Documented patient care and procedural notes and monitored patients for signs of infection or procedure side effects.

Completed an RN-BSN bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2019. Member of Sigma Theta Tau International Society of Nursing and Tau Sigma National Honor Society.

Completed an associate degree in Math-Science in 2015.
