Sariya Faiz

I am a nutrition graduate with a solid foundation in nutritional science, diet planning, and health education. I focus on translating complex concepts in easy terms while bringing strong interest in functional nutrition, weight management and sports nutrition.

Through my internship at Taj Medical Complex, Naimat Begum Hospital, I conducted comprehensive nutritional assessment, empathetic counseling, and condition-specific diet planning for hospitalized patients. I also documented case studies and diet plans in an internship report.

In my internship with Trust for Malnutrition and Stunted Growth - TMSG, I studied and created educational content about malnutrition, pregnancy and correlations between mother and child’s health. I conducted educational sessions, raised funds for non-privileged children, and assessed and counseled children and mothers during local and clinical visits.

My academic and project work reflects how I approach nutrition as evidence-based, practical support—whether writing an evidence-based synopsis on carrots as a functional superfood or contributing to nutraceutical product development for joint pain, gut inflammation, and autoimmunity. I’m motivated to keep building real-world counseling and functional nutrition expertise.
