Sarah Av Ron
@sarahavron
I turn complex aircraft and materials data into actionable models, automated reporting, and decision-ready insights.
What I'm looking for
At Sage Analysis Group, I analyze aircraft maintenance and supply-chain data to uncover costly failure modes, emerging degraders, and operational insights for client decision-making. I build Python pipelines, visualizations, simulations, and automated condition reports that turn complex datasets into clear planning recommendations.
During my Ph.D. research at MIT, I developed and validated a workflow to quantify biodegradation rates across more than 700 polymers. I applied machine learning and reproducible data analysis to connect polymer chemistry, structure, performance, and biodegradability.
I bring hands-on materials engineering, statistical modeling, and technical communication together, from experiment design and characterization to stakeholder-ready reporting. I also mentor researchers, support student learning in mathematics, physics, and chemistry, and contribute to consultant hiring.
