Sameer Vohra

I’m a software engineer with experience building backend systems and web applications, with a strong interest in systems engineering, distributed systems, and solving complex technical problems. In my work, I’ve contributed to backend services, data processing workflows, and application development, while working with technologies such as C++, JavaScript, React, SQL, and cloud-based infrastructure.

I enjoy working on problems where performance, reliability, scalability, and clean system design matter. I’ve also been exploring systems-oriented projects in C++, including building an order book and matching-engine style system to better understand how high-performance financial systems work. This has strengthened my interest in low-level programming, data structures, concurrency, and designing efficient backend components.

Alongside professional work, I spend significant time improving my problem-solving skills through algorithms and data structures and building projects that help me understand systems beyond the surface level. I’m particularly interested in backend engineering, distributed systems, infrastructure, and technically challenging products.

I’m looking for a remote engineering role where I can take ownership of meaningful problems, work with strong engineers, and continue growing while contributing to a product at scale.
