Samantha Jensen
@samanthajensen
Psychology graduate blending AI, evidence-based research, and EdTech product design to support young people's wellbeing.
What I'm looking for
I’m a psychology graduate from UCL and the University of Glasgow, focused on “the intersection of AI, mental health research, and early intervention for young people.” My work blends rigorous qualitative and quantitative research with hands-on product thinking—especially around inclusive education tools and evidence-based support.
In my recent roles, I’ve built product strategy and user experience design into learning systems, including research into how AI impacts cognition, learning behaviour, decision-making, memory, and human interaction. At Talamo, I refined “personalised recommendations” within an online cognitive profile screener for children aged 7–16, supporting outputs that translate into clear, actionable guidance for schools, parents, and SENCos.
My research background includes qualitative work on students with dyslexia and their experiences learning self-teaching coding, from participant recruitment and semi-structured interviews to data analysis under ethical protocols. Alongside this, I’ve developed strong interpersonal and community-focused skills as a Peer Wellbeing Supporter, and I bring facilitation and leadership experience from workshop delivery and student society roles.
