What I'm looking for

I am looking for a supportive school environment that values collaboration and professional growth.

I am an enthusiastic elementary teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Elementary Education from New Jersey City University, where I am set to graduate in May 2024. My teaching philosophy revolves around employing diverse instructional strategies that promote active engagement and critical thinking among students. I believe in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that caters to the educational needs of all learners through differentiated instruction.

During my student teaching internship at Jersey City Global Charter School, I developed engaging lesson plans for English Language Arts and STEM for 2nd graders. I actively participated in professional development meetings and collaborated with parents and staff to support student success. My experience as a Student Assistant at the Children’s Learning Center further honed my skills in classroom management, lesson planning, and effective communication, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
