What I'm looking for

I seek tutoring or technical roles where I can apply hands-on mechanical skills and individualized teaching for learners, preferably flexible or hybrid work supporting growth.

I am an experienced Afrikaans tutor and multi-skilled technician with decades of hands-on work in armature winding and long-term private tutoring since 2019. I combine practical mechanical expertise with patient, individualized teaching methods adapted for mixed-ability learners.

As Head Armature Winder I managed winding of armatures, stators, rotors, clutch coils and solenoids, client liaison, parts ordering and invoicing, demonstrating reliability and strong customer service over many years. As a self-employed tutor I deliver one-on-one lessons, adapt literature and lesson plans for students with Autism and ADHD, and have documented improvements in student performance.

I hold a Level 5 TEFL certification and training in working with students with special educational needs, plus bookkeeping and technical college qualifications. I am passionate about helping learners succeed and applying practical skills to deliver dependable results.
