I'm a third-year Data Science student at the Eastern Africa Statistical Training Centre, building practical capability across machine learning, econometrics, and big data infrastructure.

In an Orange Data Mining classification project, I built and evaluated SVM, kNN, Logistic Regression, Naive Bayes, Random Forest, and Decision Tree models on a 180-instance dataset. I improved evaluation reliability through 10-fold cross-validation and replicable sampling while resolving preprocessing and workflow mismatches between Orange and Python/scikit-learn.

I've also conducted cointegration, VECM, ARDL bounds testing, Granger causality testing, diagnostics, and forecasting in Stata using US macroeconomic data.

In a Hadoop infrastructure lab, I installed and configured Hadoop 3.3.6 on Ubuntu with all five core daemons running. I'm seeking an entry-level opportunity where I can contribute to data science, data analysis, or statistical analysis work.
