I've evaluated health policy interventions at the Ragnar Frisch Centre for Economic Research and the University of Oslo, using Norwegian national registry data to assess their value and impact. I developed instrumental-variable and other econometric models to establish causal links between policy interventions and health outcomes.

At Rizzoli Orthopaedic Research Hospital, I assess clinical and policy questions including surgical-volume regulations and mortality after hip fracture surgery. I also build demand forecasts and conduct survival analyses in Stata, R, and Python.

My work connects rigorous quantitative evidence with practical healthcare decisions. I've partnered with clinicians, hospital administrators, engineers, academic researchers, and government stakeholders, translating complex findings into analytical reports and policy briefs.

My PhD in Economics at the University of Bologna focuses on human capital in high-volume orthopaedic surgery, building on my MPhil in Health Economics, Policy, and Management. I'm motivated by health economic evaluation, evidence-based healthcare policy, and making data useful for decision-makers.
