I also designed a multi-region active-active disaster recovery setup using AWS ECS, RDS, Route53, and Lambda to support 99.99% uptime.
Previously, I reduced API latency by 99.5%, from over four seconds to under 20ms, by re-architecting a tightly coupled monolith into an event-driven AWS architecture. I'm also researching workload-aware database sharding and building an AI-filtered content aggregation platform.
