What I'm looking for

I'm looking for a data analyst entry-level or internship role in data analysis where I can grow my skills and contribute to meaningful data-driven projects. I value supportive teams, learning opportunities and open communication. I’m especially interested in roles that offer mentorship and exposure to tools like Excel SQL and R.

I recently completed my BSc at the University of Cape Town, majoring in Applied Statistics and Information Systems, with a strong interest in data analysis and evidence-based decision-making. I currently work as a Customer Support Representative at a tech start up, where I've developed a keen understanding of user behaviour through subscriber data — often assisting with report interpretation, identifying trends, and resolving data-related queries.

My growing skill set includes Excel, Google Sheets, and data storytelling. I'm actively upskilling to deepen my knowledge of data visualisation, analysis, and coding in R and SQL. I'm particularly passionate about using data to drive business insights, improve user experience, and support strategic decisions.

Professionally, I'm detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and enjoy breaking down complex information for non-technical stakeholders. I'm excited to transition into a data-focused role where I can combine my support experience with analytical thinking to deliver value to mission-driven companies.
