Rushikesh Ajagekar

I’m an M.Tech Biomedical Engineering candidate at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, with a strong blend of healthcare science and product thinking. I’ve pursued coursework across drug delivery, biostatistics, medical imaging physics, pharmacovigilance, and clinical data analysis, and I also completed a Corizo Data Science certification.

I’m currently working as a Product Management Intern (Medical Devices) at Chiral Green (Remote), where I conduct market research and competitor analysis in the medtech domain. I support product strategy and roadmap planning, contribute to feature prioritization based on user and clinical needs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and regulatory. I also develop product documentation, user stories, and requirement specifications, while analyzing product performance through user insights.

My projects keep me grounded in real-world problem solving—from developing an essential oil–based antimelybug spray and evaluating essential oils for biodegradable food packaging safety, to creating a comprehensive monograph aligned with pharmacopeial standards. I’ve also designed a CAD-based 3D-printed tooth implant prototype and delivered a seminar analyzing primary cilia–based MC4R-mediated GPCR signaling in body weight homeostasis. I’m energized by healthcare innovation, emerging medical technologies, and building responsibly in regulated, user-centered environments.
