I’m looking for a role where I can advise on corporate governance, risk management, and compliance—translating regulatory requirements into practical board and contract decisions, with support for my Chartered Governance and SQE pathway.

I’m a proactive legal professional with an LLM in International Corporate Governance, focused on strengthening governance, managing regulatory risk, and enabling compliant decision-making. I bring practical advisory experience across UK Corporate Governance Code principles and cross-border compliance issues, with ongoing Chartered Governance and SQE preparation.

In my Junior Associate role at K Solutions & Partners, I drafted and reviewed governance frameworks and compliance policies to meet regulatory standards. I conducted in-depth legal research for cross-border cases, advised clients on board governance practices and UK Corporate Governance Code risk mitigation, and supported contract negotiation and contractual obligation management.

I’m especially proud of how I handle complexity under pressure: I processed and tracked contract amendments, coordinated internal approvals and stakeholder sign-offs, and managed multiple international client deadlines across time zones. During a critical 90-day US aid stop period, I successfully coordinated deliverables across 10+ concurrent cases with zero missed deadlines.

Before that, as an Intern at DLA Piper Africa, I supported a criminal lawyer team by organizing case files and interfacing with clients, legal teams, and court officers—using urgency-based prioritization while maintaining meticulous document review.
