What I'm looking for

I'm open to permanent and B2B/contract roles building and operating Go backend services, especially microservices, APIs, workflow systems, and cloud infrastructure in distributed English-speaking teams.

I'm currently supporting HSBC's internal automation platform in Go, using Temporal workflows, PostgreSQL, and gRPC. I also migrated a critical AWS S3 artifact-transfer service from Node.js and TypeScript to Go.

Across banking, gambling, media, fintech, and donations platforms, I've built and maintained production backend services for more than 11 years. My recent Go work includes AWS Lambda services at Shamaazi, video and audio processing with FFmpeg at Spiral Scout, and a high-traffic API gateway for Grand Parade (William Hill).

I work hands-on with microservices, gRPC and REST APIs, messaging, PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform. I'm comfortable taking over legacy code, migrating critical components between stacks, and delivering within regulated release processes.

Earlier in my career, I built enterprise banking modules and OSGi middleware at SRI Infotech, as well as Android applications with REST integrations. I work effectively in distributed, English-speaking teams and use AI-assisted development tooling daily.
