What I'm looking for

I’m looking for mechanical design work where I can own NPD/NPI from concept to release, run GD&T and tolerance stack-up-driven verification, lead risk-based design reviews, and deliver cost-out improvements with cross-functional teams.

I’m a Mechanical Design Engineer with 10+ years delivering products and subsystems from concept through production release. My work spans industrial automation, material handling, process equipment, and automotive/defence engineering, including Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Tata Power, and Tata Power Défense.

I’m highly proficient in 3D CAD modelling (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Creo, AutoCAD) and GD&T aligned to ASME/ANSI Y14.5. I apply tolerance stack-up analysis and engineering calculations to ensure design inputs translate cleanly into 3D models and engineering drawings.

Across NPD/NPI execution, I lead design reviews, engineering change management (ECR/ECO-equivalent processes), and configuration management within PLM-based release workflows. I also use risk-based design review and structured trade studies aligned with DFSS principles—comparable to DFMEA/DVPR-style verification.

I’ve led cost-out (VA/VE) projects end-to-end, from idea shaping and technical evaluation to implementation, and I coordinate cross-functional, multi-geography teams (India/Europe) plus suppliers to close technical actions on schedule.
