Robin Sutton

I’m a highly-motivated Registered Nurse with over 25 years of experience, and I’m always looking for new challenges. I bring a strong work ethic, adaptability, and exceptional interpersonal skills—especially when working effectively unsupervised and quickly mastering new skills.

My career began in the pediatric post-surgery unit as a staff nurse for 6 years (1998–2004), and I later transitioned to Pediatric Preop and PACU as a staff and charge nurse from 2004–2024. Along the way, I helped open and work through the first year in the Dodson Surgery Center, building confidence in fast-paced, high-stakes clinical environments.

Currently, I work in the Pre Anesthesia Area where I perform preops on cardiac, neuro, ortho, and other complex patients. I make sure the chart and records—and the patient—are prepped, ready, and safe for surgery, supported by strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and clear reporting and documentation.
