What I'm looking for

I’m seeking a role working 1:1 with a school-aged patient in an academic setting, providing consistent and individualized nursing support while continuing to build advanced pediatric critical care skills.

I’m a Registered Nurse with almost 10 years of pediatric healthcare experience and nearly 25 years in childcare settings, committed to compassionate, high-quality care for children and families at every stage of development. I’m currently building advanced critical care skills in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

Over my career, I’ve gained experience across ED, ICU, med-surg, PCU, tele, CVU, rehab, nursery, and NICU, with strong head-to-toe assessment skills, IV therapy, medication administration, and calm, efficient support during high-stress and emergency situations. I’m technologically adaptable to EMRs and other healthcare systems.

I focus on therapeutic communication, patient/family education, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to support the best outcomes for my patients. I’ve also served as a preceptor and charge nurse, and I was awarded “Breakfast Club” recognition for excellence in patient care.

In my current role, I provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients, manage up to 5 patients per shift on a 25-bed med-surg unit, and float regularly to Nursery, NICU (Level VI), and PICU. I’m seeking a role where I can work 1:1 with a school-aged patient in an academic setting, providing consistent and individualized nursing support.
