What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can strengthen tax, legal, and governance compliance in a banking or regulated environment—supporting boards, improving documentation quality, and advising on risk with practical, legally sound outcomes.

I am a Tax Consultant currently providing tax support within the banking space, with a strong foundation in governance and compliance. I combine legal precision with practical risk thinking to keep documentation and processes audit-ready.

Across my roles in banking and corporate secretarial work, I have handled statutory and governance compliance, supported Board and committee meetings (including packs and minutes), and ensured adherence to the Companies Act, 2004 and Companies’ Act, 2008. I have also drafted and reviewed resolutions and maintained secretarial records, while advising on labour matters and delivering training on topics such as Competition Law.

Earlier in my career, I operated as a Tax Manager and legal advisor/company secretary across multiple foreign jurisdictions, managing international tax and compliance deliverables (including VAT returns, transfer pricing, and central bank compliance). I also bring experience in drafting collateral loan agreements, sureties and cessions, and overseeing legal aspects of structured finance transactions, along with court case attendance on behalf of the bank.
