Rivka McGowan

I am a recent MSc graduate specializing in AI-driven medical image analysis, with a strong foundation in developing robust whole slide image (WSI) pipelines and automating complex workflows. My academic journey at Ben-Gurion University has equipped me with the skills to apply deep learning techniques effectively, achieving a remarkable 90% accuracy in filtering cells from fake to real. My work has not only focused on technical proficiency but also on delivering actionable biological insights that support healthcare innovation.

Throughout my studies, I have successfully analyzed extracted cell types to gain valuable biological insights, such as survival likelihood, utilizing various evaluation and statistical methods. My experience as a Simulation Room Technician and IT Support Technician has further honed my technical skills and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. I am eager to apply my analytical strengths and technical expertise to impactful projects in computer vision or medical technology and computational biology.
