Ritika Bhatta

I’m a Program Associate with the Nepal Private Equity Association (NPEA), working at the intersection of private markets, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven communications. I help connect PE/VC firms, DFIs, and development stakeholders to strengthen Nepal’s alternative investment ecosystem.

In my role, I organize pitch sessions and national-level events, coordinating logistics, documentation, and stakeholder communication. I also lead the planning and execution of ESG training programs and manage organizational communications, member engagement, and website updates.

Alongside programming and outreach, I support governance and research output—preparing accurate Board Meeting minutes, maintaining official records, and producing market intelligence reports, quarterly newsletters, and case studies. Previously, as an NPEA Research & Organizational Intern, I researched companies and industries through Office of Company Registrar (OCR) and Department of Industry (DOI) sources.

Earlier experience includes a Data Analyst and Research Internship at Laxmi Sunrise Capital, where I cleaned and transformed raw datasets, interpreted results using statistical techniques, and researched monetary policy for the financial sector. I’ve also published a research paper on the effect of social media on consumer buying behavior in the electronics market (Journal of UTEC Engineering Management, available via SSRN).
