My research project, Computational Design of Nano-Engineered High-Strength Steel, explores a BCC ferritic-martensitic steel architecture with coherent nanotwins and nanoprecipitates. I computationally optimized nanotwin spacing and evaluated structural performance and embodied-carbon implications.
For my parametric critique of ultra-high-strength steel rebar, I developed a Python-based Eurocode 2 model across 11 slab configurations. It identified 61.6% lower steel demand while highlighting crack-width, ductility and development-length limitations.
At SOC Integrated Services, I designed structural plans for Akwa Ibom State Government (ARISE) projects. I also prepared MEP designs for proposed residential buildings at Mutual Commitment Company (MCC).
My experience includes highway construction supervision and laboratory testing at HENSEK Integrated Services LTD, as well as collaborative structural design and site supervision at Physical Planning (University of Uyo). I’ve also provided technical supervision on a terrace apartment project and tutored graduates and industry professionals in civil and MEP design workflows.
