At SBLI, I’m the primary owner of actuarial rate integration, translating rate tables into production Ingenium configuration for new and in-force policies. I built programs that cut rate-translation compute and developer time by several orders of magnitude, and trained two engineers to perform the work independently.
For SBLI’s Ingenium-to-OIPA migration, I lead a team translating COBOL business logic into C# applications, libraries, and data sources for the implementation partner. I also designed and built a .NET 8 framework that parses MicroFocus COBOL copybooks into byte-accurate record objects with dynamic 88-level condition evaluation.
I’ve designed middleware and APIs connecting Ingenium with internal and external systems, and led integrations for Swiss Re’s Automated Claims Engine and the Claim Automated Risk Engine. Earlier, at Harvey Building Products, Inc., I developed middleware linking legacy COBOL manufacturing systems with SAP reporting and WTS Paradigm order management.
