What I'm looking for

I'm looking to lead high-impact engineering initiatives where I can combine hands-on architecture and delivery with people development, platform reliability, cloud efficiency, and responsible AI adoption.

At Itaú Unibanco, I lead engineering for investment-fund management solutions in a regulated, high-criticality environment. I connect engineering, product, business stakeholders, and partners to prioritize delivery, manage trade-offs, and guide technical decisions.

I'm hands-on with Java/Spring and Python, building REST APIs, microservices, distributed and event-driven systems with Kafka and SQS. I modernized SOAP services to REST APIs, reduced MTTR by approximately 80% through EKS, Datadog, Python, and AWS Lambda automation, and delivered AWS FinOps initiatives that saved approximately R$500 thousand per year.

I develop people through 1:1s, feedback, mentoring, pairing, and code reviews. I also build end-to-end generative AI products and use AI in the SDLC to improve code, testing, vulnerability remediation, and delivery speed.
