Rex Ebedi

I am an accountant experienced in treasury and finance operations, currently working with Bayelsa State Government, Office of the Accountant General (Treasury Headquarters), Yenagoa. I bring a result-oriented, target-driven mindset, with a consistent ability to manage pressure and take ownership of tasks with little or no supervision.

Before my current role, I strengthened my foundation through varied responsibilities, including serving in a finance department during National Youth Corps Service and working as an accountant with earlier professional exposure. I also developed commercial and operational experience through roles such as field agent (marketer) and sales personnel, which improved my communication, interpersonal connection, and customer-facing discipline.

I stay committed to professional growth through memberships and certifications, including ANAN (Certification of Membership, CNA) and IPMA (2025), as well as my prior ICPC-related student anti-corruption involvement and service recognition. My professional ethos is simple: stay positive, collaborate effectively, communicate clearly, and deliver trustworthy outcomes that support organizational goals.
