Renard Lorenz Dy

I’m a registered electrical engineer with hands-on experience in maintenance, repairs, and on-the-ground facility reliability. In my current role as a WM Officer: Facilities Maintenance Implementer, I manage every plant and implementers within my assigned unit.

I focus on execution and follow-through—reviewing work notifications, monitoring backlog items, initiating PRs when needed, and ensuring timely updates. I also handle utilization and oversight of budget across OPEX and CAPEX, including tracking revolving funds and processing reimbursements.

Safety is central to how I work. I’m designated as a Safety Officer for the North Cluster of Facilities Maintenance Department, and I apply electrical safety and preventive maintenance discipline to support dependable operations and compliance.

Before this, I served as a WM Engineer: Facilities Maintenance Implementer, where I implemented work notifications for assigned plants, performed technical audits, and produced accomplishment reports. Earlier still, I worked under the Wastewater Management Division of Manila Electric Company (MERALCO), where I performed onsite meter data retrieval, executed field orders for TOU and future projects, reported field findings, and delivered customer-focused energy solutions.
