I’m an Audit Semi-Senior and CA(SA) candidate with a strong accounting and finance background (BCom Accounting Sciences, Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (CTA), and Postgraduate Diploma in Finance). I bring hands-on audit and financial analysis experience across South African and UK entities in public and private sectors.

In my current role, I lead financial statement audits by identifying areas at high risk of material misstatement due to fraud or error, and I complete risk assessments in line with ISA 315 (fraud risk, inherent risk, and control risk). I evaluate internal controls, governance processes, and operational procedures to spot weaknesses and drive process improvement, while ensuring compliance with IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, UK GAAP, GRAP, PFMA, and MFMA requirements.

I draft annual financial statements, review accounting disclosures, and compile audit findings and management reports for presentation to stakeholders and regulators. I also support forecasting and decision-making through cash flow budget and scenario work, and I process and analyze large financial datasets using advanced Excel, VBA, Power BI, and SQL—so my reporting stays accurate, timely, and actionable even under pressure.
