I am a Data Protection Officer with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and over seven years of experience in regulatory compliance, information security, and privacy governance. I hold certifications in GDPR Compliance and Ethical Hacking and focus on practical, risk-based approaches to data protection.

In my current role at Botho University, I developed and maintained enterprise-wide data protection frameworks and ensured compliance with the Data Protection Act and GDPR. I have led vendor risk assessments, reviewed third-party contracts for privacy adherence, and advised on Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).

I regularly serve as a liaison with regulatory authorities and provide reporting to executive and board-level committees, which has improved organizational readiness and strengthened audit outcomes. My technical knowledge includes financial services regulations and proactive risk identification and mitigation.
