I’m an editor, proofreader, and quality assurance specialist with more than 15 years of experience working across higher education, accessibility services, government, legal, and corporate environments. My career began in court reporting and evolved into real-time CART captioning, where I developed an exceptional attention to detail, a strong command of language, and the ability to quickly identify errors while maintaining accuracy under tight deadlines.

Over the years, I’ve expanded my work into editing, proofreading, educational content review, proposal editing, and quality assurance. I currently support project teams by reviewing strategic plans, educational materials, reports, proposals, resumes, and client-facing documents to ensure they are clear, consistent, accurate, accessible, and publication-ready.

One of my unique strengths is my background in accessibility and communication. Through years of CART captioning for higher education institutions, government agencies, hospitals, and corporate clients, I’ve gained extensive experience making information easier to understand and accessible to diverse audiences. This experience has also strengthened my ability to maintain terminology consistency, adhere to style guidelines, and manage high-volume content with precision.

I enjoy transforming complex, technical, or multi-author documents into polished materials that are professional, organized, and easy to read. I thrive in remote environments, collaborate well with distributed teams, and consistently deliver high-quality work while meeting deadlines.

I’m particularly interested in opportunities involving proofreading, copy editing, educational and curriculum content, accessibility review, quality assurance, proposal editing, and content development.
