Ras Dia
@rasdia
I am an experienced creative producer leading vision-driven multidisciplinary performing arts.
What I'm looking for
I am a passion-forward, process-oriented creative producer and arts leader who centers vision-driven programming, shared community, and creative problem-solving in my work.
As Deputy Director and Producing Director-in-residence, I have led artistic planning, producing, contracting, communications, and coordination for opera and multidisciplinary touring projects, helped grow a production company from $500K to $2M in operations, and managed multi-million-dollar budgets and commissioning pipelines (including projects featured by major national outlets and partnered with institutional funders).
I supervise cross-department production, development, and marketing teams, recruit and manage contractors and staff, build residency and festival programs, and secure sponsorships. I seek roles that allow me to commission new work, advance disability-inclusive practices, and scale sustainable, community-centered creative programs.
