What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build trusted reporting, data pipelines, and forecasting solutions where data quality, clear metric definitions, and explaining results to stakeholders matter.

At Dataal Africa, I own the reporting layer across multiple business functions, building Power BI dashboards, optimising SQL and Python workflows, and maintaining automated ETL pipelines for scheduled and real-time analytics. My work has improved processing efficiency by 40% while giving stakeholders live, trusted visibility into performance.

I'm driven by getting the numbers right and clearly explaining why they are right. I bring nearly five years across data engineering, BI, software engineering, forecasting, and statistical modelling, including machine learning work using gradient boosting, BERT, XGBoost, and SHAP.
