At SAS Institute, I develop data access and host-system features for SAS Viya. My work includes bulk loading and unloading data between SAS tables and target data stores, cloud-provider integrations, and authentication and authorization support.
I created GitHub workflows for CI/CD and am building microkernel extensions for SSL-based encryption, Kerberos authentication, and ADLS integration.
At IBM, I developed a high-availability feature for clustered mainframes that allowed sysplex shutdowns and restarts without disrupting running TCP/IP traffic. I also developed Ansible and Python automation for deploying Software Defined Access.
Earlier, I extended features for networking, storage, and monitoring products at AppDynamics (Cisco Systems), ADVA Optical Networking, Cisco Systems, and Fusion-io. My background also includes I/O performance research at Argonne National Lab.
