Rahul Chouhan

My name is Rahul Chouhan. I am a Senior Backend Developer with more than 5+ years of experience. Currently I am working with a startup company Blossom Social as Contractor or Freelancer.

I have worked with startups from starting and have very good sense of collaborating with team. I do lot of code reviews to help teammates. Organize regular team meetings to keep a track of where we are and solve the blockers.

While working with early stage startups I have to work on all components of the application. Like Backend, frontend, database, cloud and testing.

So I can quickly share technologies I have worked on. As i am more inclined towards backend most of them are backend specific.

Backend:

I have worked on JavaScript and Python. In JavaScript, I used Nodejs and ExpressJS frameworks.

In Python, i work on writing plain python scripts in AWS Lambda. But I have also worked on Flask.

Database:

I have worked on NoSQL databases like MongoDB and DynamoDB. In MongoDB i have used Mongoose ORM and also i have very good understanding of Aggregation queries. I have also used DynamoDB and really like it as it is fast. I have used Boto3 in python.

I have also worked on SQL DBs like PostgresSQL and RDS. Ihave used SQLAlchemy package in python to interact with Postgres DB.

Cloud:

I have majorly used many AWS services like Lambda, SQS, RDS, Cloudwatch, Eventbridge, EC2 and many others. In JavaScript I have used aws-sdk and in python Boto3 to interact with AWS services.

Testing:

I kee writing unit and integration test cases. In JavaScript I have used jest library.

Frontend:

I have heavily used Angular to build complex frontend in company. I also keep building projects where i have used react framework.

Other than this i also work on open source and i have build an NPM package which anyone can use or contribute.
