At Deloitte East Africa, I currently serve as the sole regional lead for East & Southern Africa, managing cross-border KYC/AML due diligence, beneficial ownership reviews, and reputational risk assessments.
I provide evidence-based recommendations that inform Partner-level onboarding and client acceptance decisions across six jurisdictions. I also advise Partners and senior engagement teams on independence and conflict-of-interest matters.
At Halal Eats, I co-developed the platform from concept to launch, contributing to product strategy, feature scoping, and go-to-market planning. I also built the startup’s risk management framework and designed data-driven marketing campaigns.
Earlier, I worked as a Finance Intern at Central Bank of Kenya and a Relationship Officer at Equity Bank Limited. My background includes financial analysis, client portfolio management, and credit assessment; I hold a BSc in Actuarial Science and am advancing my CPA and Data Science studies.
