Rachel Wise

As a passionate and dedicated psychiatric nurse practitioner, I have cultivated a diverse skill set through my extensive experience in various healthcare settings. I currently provide diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic interventions for adult populations at Lavender, where I focus on delivering quality mental health care throughout Tennessee. My journey in nursing began with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and I am set to complete my Master of Science in Nursing from Southern Adventist University in December 2023.

Throughout my career, I have worked in multiple roles that have honed my expertise in psychiatric nursing. At the Helen Ross McNabb Community Outpatient Clinic, I provided care for both pediatric and adult populations, collaborating with various organizations to ensure comprehensive support for my patients. My experience at Moccasin Bend Mental Health Institute allowed me to work across all units of the hospital, including forensic and long-term care, further solidifying my commitment to mental health nursing. I have also contributed to the education of future nurses as a clinical instructor, emphasizing evidence-based practices to enhance their learning experience.
