Planned and delivered standards-aligned ELA instruction to prepare students for state testing (PSSAs). Led differentiated small group instruction to address diverse learning needs.

Facilitated weekly meetings with my grade team to share pertinent school-wide information. Developed and implemented grade and whole school programs.

Coached and supported teachers in delivering math content. Led teachers in lesson internalization and creating differentiated plans to support all students.

Adapted provided math and ELA curriculum and pacing guides into daily lesson plans aligned to state standards, incorporating scaffolding strategies and formative assessments. Established a nurturing, well-managed first-grade classroom by implementing consistent routines, clear expectations, and ClassDojo to promote positive behavior and parent communication.

Led professional development sessions in multiple content areas. Facilitated practice sessions with new teachers to help support implementing new teaching strategies.

Introduced foundational math concepts through the use of manipulatives, visual models, and hands-on centers to develop number sense and problem-solving skills. Delivered developmentally appropriate instruction in phonemic awareness, phonics, and early reading using programs such as Fundations and Heggerty.

Worked with students in a small group setting on literacy skills and strategies. Developed and implemented lesson plans based on the Wilson Language Curriculum called FUNdations.

Read and approved lesson plans for all classrooms throughout the school to ensure the plans were developmentally appropriate. Assisted the Director of Education in planning school-wide events such as a STEAM and Music Day.

Created and implemented daily and weekly lesson plans to promote the growth of children’s knowledge. Provided and promoted a positive and safe learning environment for 20 three-year-olds.

Completed a Master of Arts in Teaching program, focusing on advanced pedagogical techniques and educational theories. This program enhanced skills in curriculum development and classroom management.

Earned a Bachelor of Arts with a dual focus on Education and History, preparing for a career in teaching. Gained certifications in Early Childhood and Childhood Education, along with a History Certification.
