At Milton St Peter YMCA, I designed interest-based curriculum webs and translated them into play-based learning experiences. I observed and documented children’s learning to inform program planning and supported their sense of belonging through individual relationships.
At Cedar Ridge Public School, I co-planned learning experiences and scaffolded children’s thinking during free play. I used positive guidance to support trust and pro-social behavior.
At Bruce Trail Early Learning Centre, I planned developmentally appropriate learning experiences and maintained a safe learning environment. I also sought and applied mentor feedback to refine my practice.
Before my Ontario placements, I trained and taught in early-years and primary-school settings, including delivering EYFS lessons at Gems Wellington Silicon Oasis and teaching English and mathematics at Lahore Grammar School. I’m completing an Early Childhood Education Diploma at Sheridan College, and my RECE registration application is in progress.
