I've researched foodborne pathogen detection using advanced genomic techniques as part of my MS in Food Quality Management at the University of Management and Technology.
My thesis work involved DNA extraction, PCR amplification and troubleshooting, gel electrophoresis, and bioinformatics tools for pathogen identification and genetic differentiation. I've also built hands-on wet-lab experience at Avian Laboratories & Research Centre, preparing reagents and stock solutions and performing PCR workflows from preparation through documentation.
During my internship at Mughal Eye Hospital, I conducted hepatitis testing, CBC testing, and centrifugation while gaining experience with clinical diagnostic equipment and laboratory workflows. I'm interested in scientific research, food safety innovation, and molecular biology advancements.
