Full-stack software engineer with 7 years of experience, mostly in Go and Angular, with Postgres/AlloyDB, Kubernetes and Google Cloud.

For 4.5 years I built SmartPass, a digital hall pass and student safety platform used by 3,500+ schools and 2M+ students. I joined while it was a fast-growing startup and stayed through its acquisition by Raptor Technologies, where I helped integrate Raptor’s Emergency Management features into SmartPass.

I own features end to end: tech spec, Go backend, Angular frontend, Kubernetes deployment and production support. Features I’ve shipped have driven revenue and are still in use. On the on-call rotation, I led response on production incidents like resource saturation, crash loops and dropped WebSocket connections, and built custom diagnostic tooling when our standard tools couldn’t tell a real bug from clock drift. I’ve also introduced frontend test suites (Playwright, Jest) and worked to make our CI/CD pipelines faster and cheaper.

Before SmartPass, I built Angular applications at Scan Unlimited and Caribbean Airlines, including the in-flight crew app and a shared UI component library.
